At Flintrock we provide several products that quality feeders gain value with.

Program Cattle

Program Cattle are highly managed cattle from producers with more records and documentation.  Through our new ties with IMI Global, we have the ability to certify cattle for programs they are eligible for, ranging from NHTC (non-hormone treated cattle) to source and age, all natural, or any combination of the three.  This documentation enables us to demand a premium for cattle we can prove we have managed a particular way.  These programs are very specific and usually require cooperation of the feed yard, the producer, and IMI Global.  Please call in advance to see what documentation we can acquire on your cattle.

Cattle for the Investor

Cattle with 30% equity required. (Subject to Change with Market Conditions) Many times people don't need to mess with cattle to get the benefit of owning them.  We provide excellent services to the customer in the purchase and financing of cattle.

In today's changing times and fluctuating markets, many investors want to diversify their holdings into other things besides the stock market.  Well, we invest in the REAL stock market at Flintrock Feeders Ltd.

We only invest in high quality cattle, we have categorized all livestock into the following classes, Class #1 is mainly made of English breeds with a few exceptions.  This class is then marketed to the higher end grids.  Here quality counts and every animal is verified through ultrasound technology before we send it to market.  English genetics seem to be very predictable and we return data to those investor who wish it so that they can purchase cattle again from the same sources where they are successful.  The drawback is that the upfront cost is higher than other cattle.

Livestock in the Class #2 category are usually marketed into the Select segment of the market.  These cattle are good performers in the production side of the process but sometimes don't make high marks on the grid due to quality issues.  These cattle are usually cheaper upfront, but don't always bring much over the market.  If you are looking for performance in the production side and using a "yield" based grid or live price look to Class #2, if not we suggest purchasing Class #1 Cattle.
