Flintrock Feeders Ltd. is committed to providing services that mean something to the feeding customer as well as the purchaser of our products down the road.  With that in mind we feel that information on cattle is one tool many times overlooked.  we provide an array of services that help not only the end consumer know that the product we produce is safe, with consistent quality; but the customer who feeds cattle with us is informed as to where and how changes should be made to not only increase returns, but create a better product for the consumer.

If you are involved in retained ownership, owning cattle from the Cow/Calf enterprise and/or the stocker phase through the finish in a feed yard, Flintrock Feeders provides special services to meet your needs.

Feeding your cattle on pasture land puts pounds on in a slow, efficient manner.  For your calves who are struggling with weight or need a period of adjustment, the pasture program at Flintrock Feeders is the answer.  See our contract grazing guidelines.

Marketing:

Feeding with Flintrock Feeders means proximity to six major packing plants and the competitive edge to receive a higher price on your fed cattle.  Cattle buyers know to expect the best from Flintrock Feeders!  We are located within a 100 mile radius of 4 major meat packers.  We sell to Swift, Excel, IBP & National.  Our feeding program is based on high quality alfalfa hay and steam flaked corn.  Our sorting policy is to sort cattle for the market that is best suited for that animal to reach the maximum dollars per pound produced. 

Ultrasound Services

We have extensive experience in the use of Ultrasound tools to sort and determine market ready status of cattle on feed.  We translate this service into more dollars per head received by our customers due to better targeting of markets.

Performance Tracking on Individual Cattle

We have the ability to track data of each individual to provide the producer a picture of how his cattle perform in the feedlot phase of production.

Individual Carcass Data Tracking

After the cattle are harvested, Flintrock Feeders Ltd. has the ability to arrange individual data returned to the customer.  This information is valuable to producers who consistently want to upgrade their genetics, or purchasing knowledge.
